Associate Dentist
Department: Service Provider
Responsibilities:
— Examine, diagnose, and provide dental treatment to our patients
— Use a variety of modern dental instruments including hand tools, rotary instruments, and digital radiograph
— Ensure all OSHA, Dental Board, and Company policies and procedures are properly followed
— Maintain proper patient treatment records
— Provide oral hygiene instructions to the patient
— Build good rapport with patients and staff
— Provide excellent chair side communication to enhance the patient experience
— Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
— Perform other duties as requested
Qualifications:
— Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree with minimum 2+ years experience
— Must have a valid dental license
— Experience in dental treatment planning preferred
— Knowledge of dental terminology
— Knowledge of dental office procedures
— Knowledge of DentiMax or similar software often required
— Knowledge of MS Office
— Ability to multi-task
— Excellent communication skills
— Strong planning and organizing skills
— Problem analysis and problem solving skills
— Sound judgment and decision-making skills
— Integrity
— Teamwork
— Customer service orientation

Registered Dental Hygienist
Department: Operations
Responsibilities:
— Prepare treatment room for patient by adhering to prescribed procedures and protocols
— Prepare patient for dental hygiene treatment by welcoming, checking in and seating patient
— Provide information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests
— Maintain instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting instruments
— Select materials and equipment for dental hygiene visit by evaluating patient’s oral health
— Complete dental prophylaxis by cleaning deposits and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins
— Detect disease by completing oral cancer screening and periodontal assessments, and exposing and developing radiographic studies
— Arrest dental decay by applying fluorides and other cavity-preventing agents
— Maintain patient appearance and ability to masticate by fabricating temporary restorations and finishing restorations
— Help dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification and emergency supplies
— Educate patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions
— Document dental hygiene services by recording vital signs and charting in patient records
— Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
— Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations
— Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
— Conserve dental resources by using equipment and supplies appropriately
— Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
— Perform other duties as requested
